West Lake Toho Florida largemouth bass

FRESHWATER : Fish in shallow waters of West Lake Toho for plenty of largemouth bass. The fish are laying just off vegetation and lily pads ambushing pods of baitfish. Use jerkbaits — silver and black Shad Assassins work well — toads and spinnerbaits. You should find plenty of bluegills and shellcrackers near the lily pads. Use crickets or redworms.
SALTWATER : Fish the Cones out of Port Canaveral for wahoo. There has been a steady bite throughout the past week. Fishing is best at daybreak and sunset. Troll purple and black Marauder lures or naked ballyhoo. A few dolphin and king mackerel are in the same area. Fish drop-offs or ledges in that area for scamp grouper, red snapper and amberjacks. Pinfish and grunts work well as will bonito strips.
