Two fishermen saved off UK

Two fishermen saved off UK – TWO fishermen are recovering after their vessel sank 12 miles off the coast of southern England.
The men were rescued by a Royal Fleet auxiliary vessel, the Black Rover after spending five hours in a liferaft.

Their vessel, Bounty TH 181 is an under 10 metre fishing
vessel registered in Teignmouth, South Devon.

It sank in a position approximately 12 miles south
east of Berry Head, and its liferaft floated free. The liferaft had only recently been correctly deployed – just weeks ago MCA inspectors had spotted that it was wrongly tied down.
The fishermen used their last distress flare to get their rescuer’s attention – UK
