LAKES
Clearwater Lake: 77 degrees, low, clear; all species slow. (Report made on 9/21/2006)
Council Bluff: 72 degrees, low, clear; black bass fair on soft plastics throughout the day and topwater lures in the evenings; all other species slow. (Report made on 9/21/2006)
Cypress Lake: black bass fair on spinnerbaits in the late evening; all other species slow. Lake closed to fishing until 1 p.m. during teal season Sept. 9-24. (Report made on 9/21/2006)
Duck Creek: 74 degrees, clear; black bass good on topwater lures and plastic worms; bluegill fair on beetles and crickets. (Report made on 9/21/2006)
Lake Girardeau: 86 degrees, low, clear; black bass fair on topwater lures; bluegill fair on crickets; all other species slow. (Report made on 9/21/2006)
Perry County Lake: 81 degrees, normal, channel catfish good on liver; black bass fair on topwater lures; all other species slow. (Report made on 9/21/2006)
Robert DeLaney Lake: 70 degrees, normal, all species slow. (Report made on 9/21/2006)
Wappapello: normal, black bass fair on spinnerbaits and plastic lures; crappie fair on minnows and jigs; bluegill slow; channel catfish good on jug lines and trotlines at night using live bait; white bass slow; anglers should note the new 9” minimum length limit regulation for crappie.
