Sinking of British trawler not deliberate

Hull, England, Dec. 17 (UPI) — An inquiry into the sinking of a British trawler 20 years ago ruled out theories it had been deliberately sunk by Russians or pulled down by a submarine.
The fishing trawler Gaul sank in the Barents Sea off the Norwegian coast in February 1974. All 36 crew members were killed.
The public inquiry concluded the trawler sank because its hold became flooded during a storm.
