Pro Bass Angler Mike DelVisco Joins Award-Winning Fishing Show Lunkerville
NEW YORK, NY, (NAMC) – Lunkerville, America’s home grown fishing show, is proud to announce the addition of Mike DelVisco to it’s award-winning television program. DelVisco will contribute weekly fishing tips to the popular show as its resident bass fishing expert. A new 2 minute tip will air each week under the “Bass Bytes” segment title; an extension of DelVisco’s successful seminar and DVD series under the same name.
“We are thrilled to have Mike as a regular contributor on the show. I am personally a big fan of his, having attended his multi-media seminars and watched his DVDs. He is extremely knowledgable and has a very likeable on-camera prescence. His Bass Bytes vignettes will be a terrific addition to the show and will give fishermen the tips and techniques they crave.” said Host and Producer Mike de Avila.
“In only one year Lunkerville has become extremely popular with fishing fans as evidenced by their Sportsman Channel awards” says DelVisco. ” What’s unique about the show is that it showcases all aspects of bass fishing, from recreational and tournament angling to just the simple pleasures that are often overlooked in the sport. And their host Mike de AviIa is as engaging and funny as any personality I’ve seen on outdoor television. I am proud to be a part of the show with my Bass Bytes vignettes and look forward to an exciting year.”
Mike DelVisco has been a full time professional angler on the Bassmaster Tour for 15 years. He has also competed on numerous other trails and is a former East Coast points leader on The Grand National Trail. Mike currently competes on the Bassmaster Tour while conducting seminars for Bassmaster University. His cutting-edge, multi-media seminars have become must-attend events at sport shows across the country.
Lunkerville airs four times a week and anchors the Friday Night Fish Fry block of fishing programs on The Sportsman Channel, a national cable network dedicated to 100% hunting and fishing programming. In the show, Host Mike de Avila travels from town to town uncovering the secrets and rituals of everyday bass fishermen. Unlike most fishing shows, Lunkerville examines the time-tested techniques and secret spots favored by these local experts. The program was recently honored with 3 Sportsman Channel Awards including Viewer Favorite Fishing Show and Viewer Favorite On-Camera Personality.
