Were built with a great day fishing the Bald eagle River near Edwards, CO. With Springbreak happening traffic around Colorado was very light and also the drive-thru the mountain tops easy. Was cloudy when i left town but when I acquired with the tunnel before Idaho Springs the sun’s rays was out also it would be a beautiful day. Felt sufficiently warm to depart the fleece within the vehicle, though Used to do have fleece pants because the water was cold.

The seafood went crazy in love with yellow stoneflies and eggs on 5x fluorocarbon. Arrived over 10, lost a lot more once they put the hook jumping and running. Most likely 2/3rds on eggs and 1/3 around the stonefly. In the Colorado Flyfishing show I acquired material in the Soft Pushing Egg booth and tied a number of individuals up for today. These were like trout chocolate.

Almost all were in fairly fast contributing to knee to leg deep runs with large big chunks of rock between regions of more effective water. After I got the depth called in (plenty of weight) it appeared like I had been connecting up almost every other drift.

Was difficult to get good pictures alone, and obtain the seafood back rapidly but here are the seafood. Water was silty but did have a couple underwater shots:
