Fishing equipment stolen in Seaford – ITV News

Hundreds of pounds worth of fishing equipment has been stolen from a shed in Seaford.

Between 5.30pm on Thursday and 5.15pm on Friday the padlock of a shed in Ringmer Road was forced open and a large quantity of carp and sea fishing equipment was taken.

This included three Shimano rods and reels as well as a quantity of other carp fishing equipment including Delkim bait alarms.

Also stolen were two Daiwa Sandstorm sea fishing rods as well as two Abu Ambassadeur reels, seats, landing nets and tackle boxes.

The total value of the items taken is thought to have been about £1800.

We’re keen to speak to anyone who might have seen or heard people interfering with the shed or getting inside it. We’d also like to speak to anyone who is offered the chance to buy any of the stolen equipment.”
