FRESHWATER : Fish in shallow waters of West Lake Toho for plenty of largemouth bass. The fish are laying just off vegetation and lily pads ambushing pods of baitfish. Use jerkbaits — silver and black Shad Assassins work well — toads and spinnerbaits. You should find plenty of bluegills and shellcrackers near the lily pads. [...]

Area fishing report Several sailfish have been caught and released in the 18-25 mile range over the past week. Kings up to 50 pounds have also been caught over the past week on live bait. Smaller kings are being caught at the artificial reefs and offshore ledges.
