Bass fishing season opened recently and according to the state Fish and Boat Commission, anglers can look forward to excellent fishing opportunities this season on area waterways.

Big Bear Lake Fishing Report - When the moon is full over Big Bear Lake the fish slow down on the bite. And fishing the first part of the week proved to be slow, but by the weekend things were heating up again.

ANGLING: Smith catches the crea, with cat meat - THE Fenland Rods anglers regularly fish the Decoy Lakes complex and in the latest pairs event they used the Four Island and Willows lakes.
